Just a quick note..It's been awhile since I've posted to this blog. I guess it's time for an update. First, business
is a little slow right now, so we are doing 20% off all items at Bob Ellis through Sunday. I've been taking my days off
to take some time with my mom during her knee replacement and recovery. So, if you don't see me, please ask for me I can
use your patronage. Also, I'm trying a new blog http://shoetrends.blogspot.com/ to talk about shoes and shoe issues. Take a gander. Hope to see you guys before Sunday.

Updates PostedI've tired to post some updates to my site. I've added any new merchandise that may have some in, but
to be upfront and honest fall is almost finished. Most importantly, i've tried to show what is sold out and what shoes
we have only one size left in. Since there are so many shoes that are sold out to only 2 or three pair, I can't show them
on my site. However; I can show items that are sold out or down to the single pair. Take a good look and think what you
might want before it's gone. Oh yeah, 2 announcements. (1) - I've started a new blog where you guys can comment http://shoetrends.blogspot.com/ please stop by, comment and sign up (2) I've decided to be more business like on this site and have
a new personal site I've created for my personal feeling and thoughts - the address is available by request. Again, please
ask for me and I look forward to serving you !!

Today starts a new weekWell, last week was very strange. I worked 2 days and had no sales and made no money. But I did work both my
days off and those days help make up for those $0 dollar days. People are already starting to get upset with me because
my sizes in boots are so bad. I try to explain that we only get one per size or that it's getting late in the season,
but they don't want to hear that, they want their boots. Sorry, these days it's less inventory and more need for urgency
on the part of the buyer. I'm sure that the department stores still have sizes in there quantity boots that everyone has
and gets, but we are already getting low in the speciality, unique styles. But, come on by and see if we still have your favorite.

We got to get you in hereOK guys.. We are trying to keep you coming in by doing things we have never done before. As you know Bob Ellis
never runs specials or sales, but this seasons unusual economic times are bringing into play unusual events.
So, we are going to give 20% off all handbags (except Stuart Weitzman) and remember Charlotte Store Only. Please drop by,
ask for me and let me show you some great handbags. Let's see how they look in person and look on you.

What a week..I'll tell you with the markets ups and downs this week, my sales have suffered. The long time employees
have many more customers than I do and they are doing pretty good, but personally I'm struggling. I know a lot of us are
in the same boat. Being on straight commission is hard right now. Heck, I worked 6 days last week and 2 of them I didn't
make any money at all. I'm sure as consumer confidence begins to rise, so will my sales and the influx of new customers.
That's my main reason to have you ask for me. I'm working 6 to 7 days a week to make up for sluggish sale so I'm
there a lot more. Come by and see me and let's try on some new items and have some fun.

New arrivals and a new designerRemember, this week is 20%
off all boots and booties over $600.00. This sale ends Sunday and I want everyone to take advantage of our unusual situation
(Early sale at Bob Ellis). We have gotten on some new Henry Beguelin, Henry Cuir and Berny Demore (a new designer - see below).
Don't let this sale pass by please... Also, please,, please ask for me even if you don't see me. Honestly, times are
tough and if you are going to buy, please let me get the credit and help you. thanks.... Who or What is Berny
Demore ? Nicolas Berny and Alain Demore both met each other
in Paris sometime during the late 90's when they were both involved in fashion footwear. Since they were from different
worlds, their friendship was born around those differences. Since opposites often attract, the clash of ideas and influences
from each designer brings out such a surprising and unique fashion attitude that they decided to team up. They start designing and consulting for several fashion houses such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Bruno
Frisoni and Celine. Finally they launched their own collection called "Walk the Walk". After being fashion rebels
for three years they were finally asked to sign their collection with their real names, so "Walk the Walk" is now
Berny Demore. Each collection is based on a starting point, a picture,
a film, a slice of life or even a witty anecdote. Each collection mixes elegant tradition and novelty, aristocracy and steelculture,
sport and seduction creating a world of everyday luxury. The idea
that opposite attract generates unseen ideas and lines, which all come to life with some of the most astonishing craftmanship
available in Italy. See the astonishing end result.
